About the Non-Profit
Employees experiencing workplace harassment often face difficulty navigating the legal and health processes to resolve their situation, on top of the emotional and physical stress they may be enduring. The CIWHV wanted a platform that enabled workers to better understand their situation and provide clear information on the next steps they should take.
Our Solution
The solution can be summarized as self-assessment platform to help individuals who are being targeted by workplace harassment to evaluate their experiences in the workplace and help them determine if they are facing workplace bullying, harassment, discrimination, or violence.
There are 3 main parts to this: A self-assessment, a health-assessment and a legal-assessment
The initial self-assessment aims to help the individual better narrow down their environment at work, such as how they are being treated and identifying micro-aggressions / hostile behavior by their surrounding peers.
They will be directed to a health-assessment, which aims to help the individual identify all of the physical, emotional and mental health impacts caused by workplace harassment. This will provide them with a list of conditions they can then present to a health-care professional to receive further help.
Lastly, they will be directed to a legal-assessment, which enables the individual to more accurately identify areas where immediate legal action should be taken, with guidance from an attorney specializing in employment law and workplace harassment.
