About the Non-Profit

LandSeed is an Ottawa-based nonprofit dedicated to improving the quality of life for seniors and individuals with accessibility needs. Through its renovation and support initiatives, LandSeed helps people remain safely and independently in their homes by coordinating accessibility-focused home modifications and connecting clients to funding opportunities such as government and provincial grants.

A key part of LandSeed’s mission is reducing friction in the renovation and intake process for seniors and caregivers. Many clients face challenges navigating complex paperwork, long response times, and unclear pricing. LandSeed works to remove these barriers by offering clear guidance, trusted execution partners, and a client-first approach that prioritizes dignity, safety, and transparency.

Our Solution

Our contribution to LandSeed centers on developing an AI-powered interior remodeling platform that transforms how accessibility renovations are quoted, approved, and executed. The platform allows seniors and caregivers to simply upload a photo of the space needing modification and receive an accurate cost estimate, grant eligibility assessment, and complete work order within hours rather than days. By automating the traditionally manual processes of estimation, grant paperwork generation, and project scheduling, we're enabling LandSeed to serve more clients efficiently while maintaining accuracy and transparency. The system integrates seamlessly with BuilderTrend, their existing project management tool, ensuring smooth handoffs from quote to installation.
